Specialist in surface treatment techniques, our workshop combines traditional gestures and modern processes. Regarding the burnishing, our craftsmen still use the burnisher, an historical tool, emblematic of the profession of gilder, which allows to rub and flatten the metal to make it more reflective. For gilding, however, the workshop is equipped with modern quenching baths to electrolyze a regular gilding whose thickness is controlled. Our patinas are the result of an empirical process made of tests and experiments that have fueled the current “cookbook” of our workshop.
